1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage; these are treated the same as cookies under this policy.

2. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — required to run the Service: keeping you signed in (Supabase auth session), maintaining your subscription state, security and CSRF protection. These cannot be disabled.
• Functional — remember your preferences, such as the selected day on the home screen, units (kg/lbs) and language.
• Payment — set by Stripe when you open the checkout, to detect fraud and process payments.
• Analytics & performance (optional) — used only with your consent to understand aggregated usage and crash data so we can improve the app.

EatBright does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage via your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the app from working (you will be signed out and unable to access subscriber features). Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies and you can change your choice at any time from the Profile screen.
